Monitronics came to us to ingrate with the alarm.com API to expand and enhance their subscriber product offerings. After a successful integration, we were tasked with creating an internal sales tool to optimize residential field rep sales efforts.
We designed and implemented a tablet app (iOS and Android) that sales representatives carried with them as they did their door-to-door sales. Leveraging mapping and GPS technology, the app showed which houses needed to be approached along with useful metrics like house value, prior or existing home security system as well as which houses had previously shown no interest. The metrics were pulled from the company’s CRM so everything was updated in real-time. This removed the time-intensive need for manual data entry and helped them optimize their sales operations.
The app we developed helped improve the overall residential field rep sales process by maximizing their time and eliminating manual processes. Monitronics was later acquired by Brinks Home Security.
TMS was growing quickly and could no longer manage their inventory from a spreadsheet. They hired a different firm to build a custom solution, however, the end result wasn’t functional – even after 6 months of development.
Working with stakeholders, we rebuilt the entire solution from scratch over a short timeline, allowing the expanding sales team to get up-and-running and operations to function more efficiently.
We have worked together for over 10 years and have continued to evolve the software/technology aspects of their business including: implementing a custom CRM with internal sales and eCommerce solutions, all of which are integrated to ensure inventory counts are correct across the enterprise. Year over year, TMS has increased revenue by multiple percentage points as the technical solutions have continued to evolve to best suit their business needs.
With expanding sales, ampsandsound was having trouble efficiently meeting production demands due to delays in receiving the necessary parts to build their products. They needed a way to easily determine internal parts inventory levels in order to obtain their raw materials with enough lead-time to not delay production.
We designed and implemented a web-based application where internal parts tracking was a simple data entry process. This system was integrated with their existing Shopify eCommerce solution such that incoming orders could be tracked through the build process with parts inventory levels automatically adjusted along the way. A “dashboard view” was constructed to quickly determine parts with low counts that need to be re-ordered in a timely manner.
Ampsandsound continues to be a leader in providing affordable audiophile amplification and audio products. Manufacturing efficiencies have drastically increased with knowing exact part inventory levels. We continue to work with Ampsandsound to support their technological needs.
DAHLIN needed an optimized website to achieve its goals - and quickly.
We met with the C-suite to create a new website design and CMS (content management system). We designed the custom website such that non-technical staff could make changes and keep the website content fresh. This website went on to win awards at the NHAB "The Nationals" architecture event.
After the success of the website launch, we followed up by building the company's intranet that has become the center for day-to-day operations and information for all employees. We continue to work with DAHLIN to optimize their business through technology.
Pacifico Power needed a website that “worked”. They had a placeholder Wordpress website, but it wasn’t truly representing the company’s $4+ Billion in financing for large-scale energy projects.
Using designs from a previous firm (that had some major shortcomings), we implemented the new custom website. Other firms would have required a redesign, but we made it work and thought through the gaps.
The website launched on-time - despite major unexpected design challenges. We also built a custom CMS for the team to manage the website. We continue to work with Pacifico Power to build “big data” projects that retrieve data from solar installations to quickly assess performance issues and track points of interest.
A private company promised a client a single interface/iPad app to control all water features they built for the residence (e.g. pool, spa, cold plunge, etc.) but the previous development partners couldn’t get it set up properly.
We leveraged non-publicized API’s from the hardware manufacturers for each water feature into one custom-developed iOS app. There was no out-of-the box solution available, so we created a custom application.
The app is still used to control all water features from one central space and we’ve continued to work with this client to help streamline and scale their home automation needs.
